The Aunty Val Story:
Aunty Val started making jams to her Grandmothers recepies for the Billingshurst WI market. Demand for her excellent jams continued and quickly grew into a market both at home in the UK and abroad.
Val worked as a professional carer for people with disabilities and applied her expertise to create her Ability Centre, creating jobs, social support and training for people with disabilities. Every aspect of her jam production from the kitchens, through to warehousing and the office are designed to help people with mental and physical disabilities.
